Décidement, on n'arrête plus Barbara Buatois puisqu'elle vient d'établir un nouveau record de l'heure avec 46.048Km.
Elle était équipé d'un cadre de série Zockra 'Rapide' monté spécialement pour la piste et équipé de roues Corima.

Dimanche 18 Octobre: Un nouveau record du monde du 200m lancé non caréné pour Barbara : 56.63 km/h ! 12.71 secondes. Le record précédent était de 13.4 secondes par Ellen Van Vugt.
Nouveau record du monde du KM départ arrêté avec 1min15s741, elle bât Ellen Van Vugt qui détenait le record avec 1:19.97

She was riding a stock Zockra 'Rapide' bike fitted for track racing and Corima Wheels.
Sunday 18th October: New World record on the 200m flying start for Ba&rbara in non faired category 56.63Km/h! 12.71s. The previous record was held by Ellen Van Vugt with 13.4s
New KM standing start World record with 1min15s741, she beats Ellen Van Vugt's record of 1:19.97

Congratulations to Barbara. I read the reports from Garrie Hill as they came in. I am very impressed and very glad she set this record on a Zockra Le Rapide.
I am also very happy with the results.
She will probably have an other try on the 31st of October during a recumbent session on the Bordeaux's wooden track. This is the track of every DF records. I bet she can improve her record by nearly 1Km/h.
